The drop-down bed, for shared travel
The drop-down bed in a motorhome embodies the ingenuity of space optimisation. By rising discreetly during the day, it frees up a spacious living area for activities. At night, it lowers to provide a comfortable sleeping cocoon high up, preserving privacy.
- For A-Class motorhomes: The drop-down bed is standard and operates with manual lowering. Once it’s lowered, it doesn’t obstruct movement or access to the habitation door, making it ideal for early risers!
- For low-profile motorhomes: The drop-down bed is available as an option on most vehicles, and it’s standard on models without a permanent bed (P620D, P690D, P690S, P720P, P720U). It lowers and raises electrically, descending to 80 cm from the floor.
